Missive Integration

View your Boei chatbot conversations directly inside Missive. The integration embeds your Boei inbox as an integration panel so your team can reply from the same tool they already use for email and shared inboxes.

How to get there: Go to Setup → Business → Integrations → Missive in the top menu.

Overview

The Missive integration lets you:

  • See Boei chatbot conversations inside Missive
  • Reply to visitors without leaving Missive
  • Share conversations with teammates using Missive's collaboration features

Setting Up Missive

Step 1: Get Your Integration URL from Boei

  1. In Boei, go to Setup → Business → Integrations → Missive
  2. Select which chatbot you want to connect
  3. Copy the generated URL — it looks like this:

https://app.boei.help/integrations/missive?key=0d9d95ea-4e...

Each chatbot has its own unique key, so make sure you copy the URL for the right chatbot.

Step 2: Add the Integration in Missive

  1. Open Missive
  2. Go to your integration settings
  3. Paste the URL you copied from Boei
  4. Save the integration

The Boei panel should now appear inside Missive.

Troubleshooting

X-Frame-Options Error

If you see an X-Frame-Options error when loading the integration, you are almost certainly using the wrong URL.

Fix: Copy the URL directly from Setup → Business → Integrations → Missive in your Boei dashboard. Do not use app.boei.help or any other Boei URL — only the URL generated on that page will work inside Missive.

Wrong Chatbot Shows Up

If the integration shows conversations from a different chatbot than expected, go back to Setup → Business → Integrations → Missive, select the correct chatbot, and copy a fresh URL.

Integration Panel Is Blank

  • Double-check that the key=... parameter is included in the URL you pasted
  • Make sure the chatbot is active and has at least one conversation
  • Try reloading Missive
