Account Management

Manage your Boei account: change your password, update your profile, switch your email, and configure account-level preferences.

How to get there: Click your profile icon (top right) → Profile or Settings.

Changing Your Password

  1. Click your profile icon → Profile
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter a new password (minimum 8 characters)
  4. Click Save

For security, you are not signed out of other sessions when you change your password. To sign out everywhere, use the Sign out all devices button below the password form.

Updating Your Email

  1. Click your profile icon → Profile
  2. Enter the new email address
  3. Click Save
  4. You will be sent a confirmation link at the new address

The old email keeps working until you confirm the new one.

Profile Picture and Name

Your name and profile picture appear in the inbox when you reply to visitors and in team-member lists. Upload a square image (JPG or PNG, max 2MB) for best results.

Two-Factor Authentication

Enable 2FA from Profile → Security to require a one-time code from an authenticator app at login. Recommended for any account that handles real visitor data.

Sessions and Devices

Under Profile → Sessions you can see every device currently signed into your account, with the IP address and last activity. Revoke any session you do not recognize.

Deleting Your Account

To delete your Boei account permanently, go to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This:

  • Soft-deletes your account immediately (data kept for 30 days)
  • Removes you from any team you collaborate on
  • After 30 days, permanently removes all your personal data
